Schwinn Airdyne

Schwinn created the ultimate exercise machine, when they put the Schwinn Airdyne Exercise bike on the market in the late 1970's. It has since become the most common form of fitness as far as exercise bikes. The Airdyne has no resistance parts, and gets all its resistance from air.

These bikes have been around since the late 70's and since that time replacement parts have remained basically the same. They still use wedge pins in the crank arms, and a two crank system with a left and right eccentric arm. The grips have remained the same as well as the connecting arms, pivot bolts and lever arms.

We carry all the airdyne parts you will need to maintain and fix your Schwinn model AD-2, and AD-6 Airdyne Exerciser. Since 2014 They have come out with several newer models, the AD-6, the Airdyne 2 and AD Pro all of which we carry parts for.

We not only carry repair items for exercisers but we know how to fix them and have available the nuts, lockwashers and oilite bearings, and chains you will need when you repair your equipment. Please feel free to call us at +1 (410) 859-3538

Bowflex Blaze

Bowflex Blaze Home Gym Parts & Power Rods

The Bowflex Blaze is one of Nautilus’s most popular Power Rod exercise machines, delivering smooth, progressive resistance in a compact footprint. Over time, polymer rods and hardware wear down—so keeping genuine bowflex replacement parts on hand is crucial. At Krislynn Cycle & Fitness, we stock original OEM Bowflex parts and bowflex rods for the Blaze, Xtreme, Motivator, Xtreme2, Power Pro, and all other Bowflex models.

Why the Bowflex Blaze Stands Out

  • Space-Saving Design: Replace a full weight stack gym with a single Blaze unit.
  • Progressive Power Rods: Polymer rods that flex under load, delivering constant tension through every rep.
  • Versatility: Perform over 60 exercises—from presses and curls to leg extensions and rows.
  • Durability: Heavy-gauge steel frame and reinforced joints built for daily use.

OEM Bowflex Blaze Parts & Accessories

When you need a bowflex power rod replacement or any other component, trust OEM quality:

  • Bowflex Power Rods: Individual rods in 5 lb, 10 lb, 30 lb, 50 lb, 70 lb, or 100 lb ratings
  • Bowflex Power Rod Replacement Sets: Refresh your entire rod lineup at once
  • Power Rod End Caps: Secure rods in your base for safe operation
  • Pulleys & Bearings: Nylon or steel assemblies for smooth cable routing
  • Cables & Shanks: Heavy-duty cables with factory fittings to maintain tension
  • Foot Platforms & Rollers: Replace worn pegs and bench rollers for stable workouts
  • Console Batteries & Brackets: Keep your display powered and secure
  • Accessory Parts: Straps, handles, and lat tower attachments

Compatibility Across Models

Our bowflex parts fit a wide range of machines, including:

  • Blaze Home Gym
  • Xtreme & Xtreme2 SE Series
  • Classic & Ultimate 2 Systems
  • Motivator & Sport Lines
  • Power Pro Series

Common Causes of Blaze Rod Wear

Even the toughest polymer rods can degrade if subjected to extremes. Watch out for:

  • Excessive heat—don’t position your Blaze near fireplaces, radiators, or direct sunlight
  • Heavy daily use without rotation—alternate rod combinations to spread wear evenly
  • Improper storage—store spare rods flat, away from moisture and UV exposure
  • Harsh environments—high humidity or corrosive cleaners can weaken rod material

How to Replace Your Bowflex Blaze Power Rods

  1. Unplug or power off any connected electronics (console, etc.).
  2. Grasp the end cap of the old rod and pull straight out to remove from the rod base.
  3. Align the arrow on the new 5 lb/10 lb/30 lb rod with the slot in the base.
  4. Press firmly until you hear a click—confirm the end cap is securely locked.
  5. Flex the rod gently to verify smooth tension before resuming your workout.

Maintenance Tips for a Long-Lasting Blaze

  • Inspect rods monthly for cracking or loss of resistance.
  • Wipe down rods and frame after each use to remove sweat and dust.
  • Lubricate pulleys and bearings with silicone spray every 3–6 months.
  • Tighten hardware and end caps quarterly to prevent wobble.
  • Rotate rod combinations regularly to balance wear across all rods.

Why Genuine Bowflex Replacement Parts Matter

Aftermarket alternatives may seem cheaper but often fall short:

  • Fit & Finish: OEM rods and parts snap in without play and match factory tolerances.
  • Durability: Genuine bowflex power rods resist fatigue and cracking under heavy loads.
  • Warranty Protection: Maintains any remaining coverage on your Blaze home gym.
  • Performance: Original parts preserve the smooth, progressive tension Bowflex engineered.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I replace my Blaze power rods?
Inspect monthly; replace rods showing cracks or reduced resistance—typically every 1–2 years under heavy use.
Can I mix rod strengths?
Absolutely—combine 5 lb, 10 lb, and 30 lb rods to create custom resistance levels that suit your workout.
Why do my rods warp?
Exposure to excessive heat or over-flexing can cause rods to bend. Store away from extreme temperatures and rotate rods regularly.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Yes—order complete bowflex power rod replacement sets or multiple single rods to save on volume pricing.
