Stationary Bike Parts vs. Spinning Cycle Parts
A spinning cycle is not the same thing as a stationary cycle even though they look very similar, so if you want spinning cycle parts, you will have to look for parts made specifically for spinning cycles rather than stationary bikes. A spinning cycle has weights on the front to imitate the feel of your weight pressing the tire against the road. If you set the tension up a little, you will actually feel like you are cycling uphill. Because cyclists need to stand up and grind the pedals when riding uphill, the pedals on a spinning cycle can endure such abuse whereas a regular stationary bike pedals cannot. Because of these differences between stationary bikes and spinning cycles, you need to be sure that you get the proper spinning cycle parts when your spinning cycle needs them.
