Schwinn bike accessories are parts meant for the line of Schwinn bicycles, first founded in 1895 by Ignaz Schwinn. Throughout much of the 1900’s Schwinn was considered the dominant manufacturer of all American bicycles. At one time Schwinn bicycles were considered the “Cadillac” of bicycles. Ignaz Schwinn made his company excel great by introducing shrewd marketing maneuvers to a growing industry. Through his financial know-how, the company managed to survive the Great Depression and become a major U.S. moneymaker. Though Schwinn Bikes eventually went bankrupt, Schwinn bike accessories are still available online and still considered to be top of line “classic” bikes worth collecting and rebuilding.
